Visit by Padova CC off
Padova Cricket Club's planned weekend to play two senior matches, an U15 match & a ladies match at Deutweg over two days has been cancelled.
Padova CC are unable to travel as the north of Italy, nearly 16 million people, has been placed into quarantine - drastic measures introduced by the Italian government to halt the spread of the COVID-19 Corona Virus to other parts of the country.
"We wish everyone in Padova Cricket Club well", said Alex Mackay, WCC vice-President, "and all being well, look forward to hosting them in Winterthur later in the year".
Calling off of this weekend came just 24 hours before the announcement of the WCC AGM being postponed.
