Following the latest announcement by the Swiss Federal Council regarding the gradual easing of Covid-19 corona virus measures, Cricket Switzerland further postponed the cricket season
until 8th June.
Successful lobbying by Swiss Olymoic has resulted in sports being included in the government's exit-strategy. It will not anable contact sports to resume training, but it is hoped that a proposal by Cricket Switzerland will allow cricket training in groups not exceeding the government's maximum of 5 people. This will enable cricket training & nets to resume, but only if a club can ensure all social distancing & hygiene measures can be satisfied, the same restrictions that would apply to shops & businesses across the country.
