3rd place at Cricket on Ice

Winterthur started the tournament well, beating hosts St Moritz on the first day of the 28th Cricket On Ice Trophy in St Moritz.
Winterthur scored 146-7 in their allotted overs and in a tense finish bowled their opposition out 8 runs short of the total with just 4 balls to go.
However, subsequent losses to Old Cholmeleians by 11 runs on the second day & to the Lyceum Alpinum by 6 wickets on the last day of the tournament meant Winterthur had to be content with sharing third spot.
