WCC 40th AGM

Jiten Patel was re-elected President of the Winterthur Cricket Club ant its 40th Annual General Meeting held at Restaurant Rössli in Winterthur-Seen on Wednesday 16th March 2022.

Mo Sameel who had announced that he was going to stand down as captain this year was thanked by the re-elected President Jiten Patel. In his place Kersley Corder was elected club captain and also new to the committee was Jagath Banneheka, elected as the 2022 Social Secretary. The rest of the committee was re-elected.

The meeting agreed to retain the current membership fees.

The newly elected committee was charged with rebuilding the club after a difficult period and decide how we were going to mark the important 40th anniversary milestone.

After the meeting members shared a 40th Anniversary cake baked and created by long serving passive member Ann Goddard.
