International Cricket Festival

11 - 12 June 2016, Zuoz

Winterthur finished in a respectable fifth spot in the 2016 Zuoz Cricket Festival in the Swiss alpine region of the Grisons, losing the first to eventual finalists Geneva XI Stars and beating Munich & the hosts.

In a rain affected game against Geneva XI Stars CC on Saturday 11th June, Winterthur lost by 72 runs, meaning that they failed to follow in Milan's footsteps and successfully defend the Zuoz tournament winners trophy.

However, having only played one game due to persistent precipitation throughout the day, Winterthur had a successful Sunday, winning both their matches, first against Munich CC and then against hosts Lyceum Alpinum to finish 5th overall.
