Captain's address

This moment marks the start of a new chapter in the story of our club. I am proud to have been voted into the position of club captain and I am standing in front of you to promise I will do everything in my power to make my time as club captain a successful one.

I would like to congratulate all the committee members who were re-elected, and I am looking forward to working with them too.

As we start this new chapter, I am keen to highlight the key points that will enable us to write a successful conclusion. My strongly held beliefs of commitment, hard work, self belief and enjoying what we do, will be what drives us forward and rebuild our team. So let us give it our best to to achieve our goal and together we can turn this around.

Our official practice sessions will start on the Wednesday 11th of April at 6pm. I would like all the active members and potential new members to join us for this net session as we will be laying out the plans for the upcoming season.

As I mentioned at the AGM we are a very close knit club, like a family. So taking part in social events organised by the club is also important, this will help us get to know each other and grow as a club.

I would like to thank you all most sincerely for voting for me. Having the trust and confidence of the team and the passive, honourary and committee members behind me will give me the foundation I need to be able to serve you well, as you deserve.

Thank you.
Mohamed
