AGM report

On Monday 12th March 2018 the WCC held its 36th Annual General Meeting at the Restaurant Tiefenbrunnen in Winterthur.

A respectable turnout of 26 members and a handful of potential new members made for a good interactive AGM which started promptly at 8pm. The President, John Hallam, chaired the meeting and ensured the meeting adhered to the agenda.

With the exception of captain, all nominees for positions on the committee were unanimously accepted/elected. Tom Mampilly vacated the position of club captain after 3 years in the position and was thanked for all his efforts that he had put in that time.

There were 3 candidates nominated for club captain, and all expressed their vision to those present how they wished to fulfill the role.

It was Mohamed Sameel who received the majority of votes from club members. After the vote Mohamed stated he is looking forward to the challenge of being club captain and naturally WCC wishes him every success.
