After winning the toss Power CC decided to bat first. Sajid and Rana opened the innings.

Pradeep opened the bowling but struggling to find the line and length Pradeep ended up giving 5 wides in the first over. Rod on the other hand gave 10 runs but was able to get a wicket as result Power were 17 for 1 in the first 2 overs. Rod continued his form and picked up another wicket, Muhammed making no mistake and holding on that catch in style. While WCC continued to get the line and lenght right, Sajid continued to score runs for Power to ensure the scoreboard was ticking. Shani was the new batsman in who was trying to hit every ball to the moon. Tom brought in Rahul as a change and the classic swing and a miss this time end up Shani falling on to the stumps resulting in a hit-wicket. At this point Power were 58 for 3 in 7 overs. Sajid and Afzal accelerated the game from there resulting in both scoring 50s and Power finished at 175 for 9 in 20 overs. The start fielder of the innings was Muhammed who took 3 stunning catches under pressure and setting an example to the rest of the team. Jagath, Dipi and Rahul as usual bowled extremely well. Overall team spirit was high but still lacked some execution.

WCC had a challenge ahead of them to score 176 in 20 overs. With no fear or pressure, Callum and Muhammed opened for WCC. Callum, struggling to connect the ball, still managed to score 27, supported by Muhammed (15). Batsman in-form Rahul joined the party and scored a mature and well balanced 61, Jagath on the other end supported Rahul welll but couldn't accelerate enough, in the end WCC were 149 in allotted 20 overs falling short of 26 runs. Shani and Afzal doing most of the damages in bowling and fielders supporting their bowlers was excellent as well.
